Tipping quick guide
In the United States, 15–20% is customary for table service, 18–20% for good service, and 10% or a small fixed amount for counter service or delivery. In much of Europe, service is often included — rounding up or 5–10% is appreciated. When in doubt, tip on the pre-tax amount.
